Some more wishes

ribbons

These ribbons are from an exhibition called What to Think. What to Desire. What to Do. which we saw last week in the Caixa Forum, Barcelona.

As part of one exhibit you are invited to take a ribbon with a wish, and as our companion very kindly let us have hers, we now have two brightly printed wish ribbons adorning one of our English Garden plants.

Apart from admiring their colourful nature, and discovering that we are not the only ones who wish we knew what had to be done, by reading these wishes we can also learn the phrasal verb ‘to figure out’ as well as the adjective ‘curious’.

Not bad for a short visit to the museum we think you’ll agree.

And remember: if you see words you don’t know, in a museum or elsewhere, you can look them up on www.dictionary.com
